Weekly Reminders for 20.10.25
General Safety Reminders
- Children should not be dropped off and left without an adult in the morning before 8:30 when the gates are opened and supervised by staff.
- Bikes and scooters may not be ridden on school grounds. As soon as children arrive at the school gates they should dismount and walk their bikes and scooters to the sheds. At the end of the day, they should walk until they have left school property.
- Please do not let children run around the car park before or after school. The car park will be in use at these times so we must ensure that everyone is kept safe.
Other Reminders
- Scopay Bookings for Parents Evening open on Monday 20th October at 9:00 and close on Thursday 6th November at 9:00.
- Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal – Year 6 volunteers will sell paper poppies in school this week so cash donations may be brought in.
- Individual School Photographs on Monday 20th October. Please ensure your child wears school uniform including a school jumper and if your child has PE on this day bring PE kits to school.
- 4G Class Assembly Thursday 2:20pm – families are warmly invited to attend.
- No Ukelele club on Tuesday but other clubs running Monday to Thursday as normal.
We break up for October half term on Thursday 23rd October at 3:15pm!

From now on, the homework sheets will no longer be printed off for every child.
Please talk to your class teacher directly if you need a printed copy.
Spelling has changed from being fortnightly to weekly. Your child will have 6 words, which relate to a spelling rule, to learn every week.
Please ensure that you listen to your child read at least 3 times a week and record in their reading records as these will checked weekly by your child's class teacher.
All homework will be set on Monday.
Homework wc 13.10.2025
Spelling: the spelling rule is focusing on plurals knowing when to add an 's' or and 'es'. Children will be tested on the 20th October.
Times tables: we are learning the 4 times table. Please use the sheet below or TTRS to practice. Children will be tested on 17th October.
Comprehension: please choose one of the sheet and complete it in your homework book.
